“This was our second stay at the House on Chase Creek. Awesome room with a beautiful view of Creek. In walking distance to some great restaurants. A great place to spend a relaxing getaway from the daily grind. Quite, clean and reasonably priced. Check it out and you will be glad you did.”

“We had no idea what to expect, but upon arrival we immediately were smitten with this house. The host was very friendly and helpful and the house just exudes old time rooming house. Each room has an excellent bathroom, comfy beds and plenty of space. I can’t recommend it enough, especially for the price.”

“We just got back from a long weekend at this wonderful B&B. The House on Chase Creek is a hidden gem on the island. The inn is beautifully maintained and our room was extremely clean. Our host, Bill, was very attentive and gave us great suggestions of things to do on our first visit to Shelter Island. He even set up the fireplace in our room for us every night so all we had to do was light a match and enjoy. The location is very peaceful yet still walking distance to restaurants. We enjoyed cocktails while soaking up the tranquility in the Adirondack chairs at the creek’s edge. I can’t say enough good things about Bill and his wonderful B&B. We were planning a return trip before we even left!”

“Great small inn located near the North Ferry in front of a lovely pond. The rooms were well-appointed with nice linens and a large comfy bed. The wifi was strong. I appreciated the free tea and coffee available all day long. The innkeeper was very friendly. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. I highly recommend it.”

“My friend and I recently spent 4 nights at the House on Chase Creek Bed and Breakfast. This is a lovely establishment, beautifully decorated and very clean. Each room has its own flavor and decor. Two of the rooms overlook the creek. If you are looking for a peaceful, serene place to unwind and escape the hustle of a larger city, this is a wonderful place to go. The front porch overlooks the creek and you are steps from the water. Everything is in walking distance, including the ferry to Greenport. Bill, the host, is relaxed, down to earth and welcoming. He treats his guests well. He is knowledgeable about the area and recommended a variety of different restaurants and sights. If you love the architecture of old homes, this place is a dream. I have never seen so many absolutely beautiful Victorian homes. They are everywhere. This is a hard place to leave once you get settled in. My friend and I wanted to stay longer but just could not work out the logistics. Do not miss this opportunity.”
